Growing Up Too Fast

Michelle is beautiful. I must admit a little bit of prejudice. I love her. She is my biggest helper whether it's with watching the other kids or helping me with dinner. I can't believe how old she is. The other day caused a moment of reflection on this very subject. She had asked to try on my shoes for church (something she has done since she was ohhh 2). I said yes of course thinking it would again be something she still couldn't do. To my surprise she fit in them. Talk about your wake up call. One that says "hello, you little girl is growing up way to fast." I guess we need these moments to truly appreciate our children and the moments we have with them.

Addiction

Addiction is a very disturbing thing! It's like something outside you is pulling on you relentlessly to do something. I think blogging might get that way!! Reading IS that way. Once I read the first page or so I need to finish. Sad to say even if it is bad I need to know what happens. One of favorite reads (like a hundred other women) is "Pride and Prejudice". I have read "Pride and Prejudice" for the hundredth time. And I still have a hard time putting it down. Addicted. Cure, well I've found one. Read it faster. At least the unfavored parts. Like the whole Lydia running off bit. But as far as the whole rest of the book, I guess my cure won't really work. The one thing that struck me this time is the time they have. Time to think, feel, meditate, and study. Study mainly. Study facial expressions, tone of voice and even what might come next. I don't have time to do that, I wish I had time to do a little meditating but I was reminded the other day there is a season for everything. So until that season I will only allow myself to read when I'm OK with my house going to pot. Which leaves me about once in a great while. Until "once in a great while" maybe I'll blog!

What I did this Summer!

I have to put these in! We had so much fun in California! A whirlwind of a vacation to be sure. One week Disneyland, Sea World, and Universal Studio. We were so tired that we came home and needed an other vacation just to sleep! The kids to this day still talk about it! So Iguess it was worth the time and money!

A whole new world!

I am a Blogger! What can I say it's like going the legions of undead. I'm in a whole new society. Glamour, fame all that is now mine! Whatever. Anyway, I'm here and life is good!
